Trade Show Displays
Trade shows are events wherein several companies from a specific industry gather together and present their full product lines to the viewing public. The first few days of trade shows, also called trade fairs, are open only to trade visitors, people who are directly or indirectly involved in the industry, and the last few days are open to the general public.
Joining trade shows could be expensive. Space rental alone costs a lot and the build up and break down of an exhibitor's booth also entail additional charges. For many exhibitors, they cut reduce expenditure either by renting a complete booth scheme, which already includes space rental, walls, lighting, chairs, a table and a garbage bin. These booth schemes are already set up by the time the exhibitors arrive and all the participants need to do is to set up their respective booths. Normally, products or services are highlighted during trade shows and companies try to attract the attention of potential customers through the use of various aids, and the most common visual aids used are the displays themselves
Trade show displays are a means to help visitors have a better understanding or appreciation of the product or service being marketed. The purpose of this is to direct visitors to your main display area. Depending on the restrictions imposed by the organizers, displays can often be seen on the floor, hung on walls, and sometimes, even suspended from ceilings.
